I’m always amused by the number of random notes I receive on Facebook that say something like, and I quote, “…just thought you would like to know that my generation still appreciates your music!”
Thanks! I don’t perform. I think you’ve got me confused with some other guy — maybe, Donny?
But, I’m glad you like my dad’s music; I do, too!
Do I really look 50? ha ha ha!

I think I’ve seen that picture before and was thinking at the time it’s hard to imagine that one is the father of the other.
Don’t think you’ll look 50 even when you are…you have good genes from both your parents. The fact that they are both gorgeous helps somewhat…:)
Don. Yes your father is 50, but Don. He doesn’t look it. What person wouldn’t mind still looking good at 50. Great shape and everything else. Your dad looks I will say 30 minus the long hair in the 80s, but he looks great.
Of course you don’t look 50, but then neither does your Dad. I saw him up close on stage in Melbourne and he is wonderfully well preserved and is the picture of health. I think your gorgeous Ma has really looked after him.
Someone said that I look 14. Colette thought that I was 16. Do you look 50? Heavens no! But you are too cute for your own good.
Well, with a little makeup, I’m sure I could make you look 50.
Yup. You totally look 50.
Yes, Don. Thanks for sharing this.
I know you said you try not to bring up your family, but I was shocked when you did, but that’s ok.
Thanks for sharing mistaking identity.
Cute pic of you and your dad, thanks for sharing.
Everyone has an opinion about which of you and your brothers look the most like your dad (or your mom,) what is your opinion?
I don’t care what anyone says, you totally look like your dad. All of you boys do, to some extent… I mean, come on, he’s your DAD, it’s gonna happen!
I think Brandon looks the most like your dad, but…eh…you’re all beautiful, so it doesn’t matter.
I think you look like an Osmond and that is what you are! However you resemble your dad but you are not a striking image so I don’t know what they are talking about!
That’s what you get for letting everyone on your face book! They really are not your friends at all!
Haha! No, you don't. Actually neither does your dad! <3
Well, first I am glad that you remembered the link. I also just got an email from Osmond family BLOG stating that you alerted them that Brandon is in semifinals. Good job. Well I agree you absolutley do not look 50 however I also think your Father looks younger than 51. And my gosh (SORRY) he looks FAB!!! And OH I love his singing and personality. OK enough, this is your BLOG, however you started it with your post and picture.
By the way, how are you feeling??
I’m in my 40′s. 40 is the new 30′s and 50 is the new 40′s. That’s what I hear. Age is just a number.
Awhile back I was watching old interviews of Donny on youtube when he was around 19 or 20 and there was a big resemblance of Jeremy and Don. Brandon and Josh really look like Donny. I think Christopher looks more like his mom.
OK. You look like your father just a little. I see it a little in the picture, but not that much.
OMG. Somebody actually thought you were your father. That’s too funny. You might have the same name, but you two have a big age difference.
Well Don. Your father doesn’t look 50. He looks great for over 50. My mother is 52 and she doesn’t look it. 50 is the new 30 or was it 20. I don’t remembered. Heck your mother doesn’t even look like she’s 50 (I know she’s turning it in a week or so).
Well Don. What can I say? You have a famous name and family. If though you go by Don and your father goes by Donny, they know you are Donald Osmond Jr because of your first name and of course Osmond is thrown in there too.
You might kill me, but you don’t look like your father. You have his dark hair, brown eyes and smile and of course the Osmond good looks, but that’s it. Maybe you can get away with it if you name wasn’t Don Osmond. LOL
But than again. I agree, Terri. I did see this good looking guy who has the same name as this other guy on a DVD too. I think I send you a clip of that.
I agree, Terri. He did a great job drumming. Do you learn from some guy name Jay. I totally forgot his last name. LOL I did laugh when Don broke the drum during the rehearsal because in his own words, “I got a little carried away”, or something like that. LOL I think your father got a kicked out of that.
Now. Who is your father again and who’s the guy in the picture with you. LOL Come on. I’m 29. I don’t know the 70s music that well since I was born in 1980.
No Don, you don’t look 50, but then again neither does he. But come to think of it, I did see you in concert once…on a DVD…some castle in Scotland was it?
Great drumming by the way!
