I was at the gym this morning, which got me thinking…
Why is it that guys have to walk around with their arms outstretched like a monkey?
Typically, girls bundle up and are greatly affected by the weather; guys, not so much. So, why do guys wear sweatshirts in the gym, while girls… well, not much?
Just a couple thoughts I had going through my mind at the gym.
…such a funny place.

It’s a networking thing……. plus Guys wearing the sweat shirts is because they are hiding a beer gut, the girls not wearing much is because they we like to see the muscles being worked, or could be because they want to see themselves to make themselves work harder. You know lots of mirrors around. Can make you work harder let me tell ya.
The gym…..back in the 80′s it was a meat market for both men and women. Seems like it hasn’t changed!
Well Its definitely a Macho thing with the men. They’ll be punching their chests next….just like Gorillas…lol. But I think its to impress the woman. Not that I’d be impressed. Can’t stand those real huge muscles. As for the woman. They also like to show off. And not just to men either. When I used to go to the Gym…a long time ago I might add…the skinnier girls with less clothing were very intimidating…and they knew it too. And that was just the half of it..you have no idea what they’re like in the changing and shower rooms…just one reason why I stopped going…:(
Probably explains why the women wear less, well the ones who probably don’t need to go to the gym anyway. On the rare occasions I have been to the gym I tend to wear looser clothing to cover up. Has the gym become a bit of a pick-up place? I’m pleased to hear I made you chuckle, Don.

Sounds like they are trying to impress other men around them, like animals that puff themselves up to be bigger. I’m sure if you observed some gorillas you would find similar behaviour.

Well Don-San. I have no idea. i really don’t go to the gym. I might need to start because I put on a lot of weight this past year.
Maybe guys who don’t have a great body don’t want the “pretty, hot” lady see that fat body. Maybe that. I don’t know, Don.
Ok, Don-San. Lesson #1. Don’t try to hit a board if you don’t think you can break it. LOL
