I was so excited to go bobsledding last week, but due to track closures and previous plans to see my father’s show in Vegas… bobsledding didn’t happen.
Not this week! Oh no! I’m wishing upon my lucky stars and keeping my rabbits feet close by to make sure I go sledding this week.
The plan is to go up tomorrow for a 2-man refresher run; Friday we’ll be warming up the 4-man; Saturday for time trials. We ended last season pretty well, and with all the training we’ve been doing over the summer, we are hoping to beat those times – Saturday, we’ll find out.
And just because this post is about bobsledding, don’t even think that I’ve not forgotten to remind everyone to vote for my brother. Until this competition is over, you’ll find a link at the bottom of all my posts reminding you to go vote for Brandon…
— VOTE FOR BRANDON —

DId you have to pull the, “Do you know who I am?” statement in Vegas?
Hope it was fun!
I thought you did get in a couple of runs last week… no?
In any case, I’m crossing my fingers and toes for you guys, in the hopes that you get your butts in that sled this week!
GO TEAM!
What time are you expecting to hit in your trials? Good luck!
Have a GREAT time sledding!
Is it okay if I ask all my friends to go and vote for Brandon? I really want his voice to be heard, it’s so beautiful! And, like someone else already commented, it is NOT because he is an “osmond” or because you asked (although you know we’d all do anything for you,) but because Brandon has a voice that deserves to be heard.
I’ve created 10 separate accounts so I can vote 10 times each day.
BTW —- (I am sure you already have) asked your dad, uncles and aunt to post the plea for votes on the member forum of their web-sites? (not that it’s any of my business)
I am thinking those might be the additional super nova of voting powers ….. JMHO.
Any way back to the original point of my comment …..
Have a GREAT time bobsledding!
Don, I did vote for Brandon. Not because you told me to, except for the part about go to this website. I voted for him because I did think he had talent. If I thought he sucked, well, to bad bud you suck. But, he didn’t so that’s a good thing.
Tell me, aren’t future olympians suppose to practice day and night and nothing else matters? Even Vegas should wait. Wait a minute did you say Vegas? Ok, then after Vegas, you should make it day and night priority. Right!!!!!!! Ha. Have fun and stay safe. Remember to spice up your holiday season.
OK, Don. Your title made me laugh because I was thinking you’re 29. You don’t have to get permission from your mother to bobsled. LOL
It looks like you are busy for the next few days. I hope you and your team get to go sledding for the rest of the week. If not. You could go back to Vegas and see your father and aunt’s show again. LOL How was the show? I hope to one day see it.
Anyway. I saw that Brandon is in 2nd place. I will make sure to vote again. So he can win.
Good luck with this week. You can smell the victory of going to Vancouver. Its coming. Like I always say. Please don’t hurt yourself this week. Be careful, Don.
