Anything is possible, even for a dog…….hey, my cat steals things and hords it. Don’t leave your jewlery lying around.
Classic. Now if only I were a beagle…
Beagles!!!!!!!! They are not only one of the cutest dogs on the planet, they are true escape artists. Beagles are stubborn, intelligent and focused.
I have had the joy of being owned by several beagles. One of which was like Hudini. It didn’t matter that he lived in the house and only went out side for potty breaks and play time. If he wanted out, he would get out of our yard in 30 seconds or less. We tried corrals, dog runs, etc.
Nothing could keep him in our yard. Then he’d go exploring for hours and we’d have to search for him.
We finally had to take down our original fencing, to create a “super fence.” My husband dug a four foot deep channel around our yard. We sunk rebar and chicken wire fencing into the channel and then had to rebuild normal 6 foot the fence around the yard. We figured that cute little beagle would no longer be able to dig his way under the fence.
He learned to run, bounce and climb the fence.
Mind you this is the same sweet beagle who had an affinity for plastic and fiber glass. Once he ate the seat off of my hubby’s motorcycle. The seat had just been recovered with a custom design on it.
A few weeks later he decided to snack on my car. We had gone away for the weekend and left the beagles with sitter. Our female beagle is passive, sweet and not a trouble maker at all.
Our male was always trouble. While we were gone we had a sitter who left him on his own in the garage for about 2 1/2 hours. Beau ended up eating most of the plastic cowling (the lower plastic portion under the front bumper. )from my brand new car. My insurance adjuster thought it was hilarious.
, we have a rabbit that does just the same,no matter what you put her in she gets out.you could put a bolder on her hutch she would still get out some how.
That was so cool, Don. What a smart dog. I bet those other dogs were thinking, “How did he or she do it.”
I thought the dog was trying to open the door, but that’s cool he fitted and went out from the top of the roof.
Great clip, Don. You’re forgiven from yesterday. OMG. I think I lost my mind when I finished watching that clip.
