First of all… Thank you to everyone who helped Brandon throughout Showcase. Last night Brandon performed both songs highlighted on Mormon Times and was awarded first place in the competition.
It was a real treat to watch him share his talent with the audience; something he doesn’t do very often.

Congrats to Brandon. Thanks for twittering us last night about him winning. I had a feeling he would win.
I was reading the article I was shocked to know that the third place winners were the sons of Dan Truman of Diamond Rio(if nobody has heard of him, he’s the piano player of the group). I guess Brandon wasn’t the only one who had a famous father. That was interesting to read about Dan’s sons participating in the contest.
Don. I have a question. Were their judges there to judge the 6 finalists or the votes from the last months was how they determine the win?
Tell Brandon we said congrats. We were happy to help him out. Did ya’ll hear back from your father? How did he took the news?

I am so totally excited for Brandon! Even if he had not won, I was “proud” of him for putting himself out there and entering the contest. Allowing oneself to be judged is never easy, and allowing oneself to be judged so very publically has to be even harder.
Congratulations to your brother!!!! I am so excited that we were a very small part of the excitement – Brandon gets all the credit – it is HIS talent and his VOICE. I can’t wait to hear more from him in the future…

CONGRATULATIONS Brandon!!! I saw some of Jeremy’s pictures on FB and Brandon looked great and comfortable at that piano. Please keep us posted on his musical doings.

I was over the moon to read your twitter early this morning. I was sitting at my computer at work and decided to take a peak while no one was looking. I think the loud “yayyyy” gave the game away…lol
Just looked at Jeremy’s photos and Brandon looks so natural up there on the stage. I’m thinking now, maybe Shelby should have a chat with Debbie and get some helpful hints on how to live with a superstar husband…ha
