So, I hesitated putting up a post about American Idol yesterday. Probably because I was having to much fun with the conversation that ensued following my last post.
Anyway, I wanted to write my prediction on which David would win — David Cook.
Now I realize living in Utah and cheering for the other David to win is practically a cardinal sin! But, I honestly felt that he should take it.
I’m sure many of you are thinking, “Yeah right, Don. Hindsight is always 20/20!” That’s okay; we are all entitled to our opinions.
Just thought I would share that.

I actually didn’t watch “Idol” this year (first year since its inception). I thought a lot of the kids in this year’s group were too beautiful, too young, too “polished” (some even won prior contests, or had previous recording contracts). I liked the show much better when it gave the “Average Joe” (or the Average Jill) a fighting chance.
On the rare occasions I did watch it, I leaned towards Archuletta. Mostly because he looked very similar to a certain Teen Idol that I’ve grown quite fond of over the years!

Thanks, Kathy!
No worries….I can vouch for you because I was there! Good call!
