Change is always good. I hope you and your wife are doing great, and you are keeping those boys at church in line. Brent had that calling...it was actually really fun to watch him in it.

100,000 miles in a car ...... it probably is a good thing he can't talk or we'd be laughing and you'd be bribing him to be quiet.

I don't know what it is about a car that makes us feel so free. It is certainly NOT the car payments, the fuel or the service and insurance we pay that is freeing. It must be the opportunities that haivng a car offer - the chance to get away, to drive with the stereo blasting as we sing along to a favorite tune....

May you have many more miles (and adventures) along the road.

I remembered my first car. It was a 1989 Toyota Tercel my mother gave to me my senior year of high school. I had my license in 1994 and I didn't start driving it until 1997, my senior year. It was a stick and I probably still can't drive a stick.

Anyway. My car went through a lot too. I think it had like 150,000 miles on it before it died in 2003 from bad death. I was soo happy to get rid of that car. It gave me soo much trouble. I had to get an alternative, an engine (it would had been twice if I didn't buy my current car), brakes, I didn't have a/c for years etc etc.

I love my 2006 Nissan Senatra and I'm soo happy it will be paid off next year. Yehaw.
