Guy 1: Why are breakups so hard?
Guy 2: Because they are sunk costs, and we’re not good at admitting lost investment.
Guy 1: That’s the best explanation I’ve ever heard.
Guy 2: I’ve had plenty of experience, both romantic and otherwise. Once you become good at accepting sunk costs, no investment is too great; just like gambling, honestly. If you’re willing to lose it, you’re ready to win.
Guy 1: You should be a writer or something.

Welcome back, Don. I hoped you had a wonderful holiday with your family.
Anyway. What can I say? I’ve never experienced this since I’m having a hard time finding a guy for me. Boy. Where are the good men at in the world? LOL
Actually little story, Don.
Welcome back and Happy New Year.

Typical for blokes to think of it in monetary terms…ha
Welcome back Don. Hope you had a good Christmas and best wishes for the new year. Lets hope this will be the year when you find your soulmate.

I second what Jane said. May this year bring you “The Girl”!

Haha, where are the guy comments on this particular blog? I’ll admit, I guess I’m not really a gambler and hence I’m not ready to win. I think I need to change that mind set for this year, lol.

That’s hilarious!
And, just possibly might be true as well (I’ve never gotten to that talking point with my guy friends, but… could be. I’ll have to check).
