My Birth Month

Filed under: Day in the Life of... — Tags: , — donosmond @ 1:31 pm

Call it self-centeredness.

Call it ridiculous.

Call it over-the-top.

…but, I’m going to celebrate my birthday this entire month.

This is a big one for me. And, to be honest, I don’t think I’m looking forward to turning 30. I mean, when I look back at the past 30 years, what has really been accomplished?

OK, probably a lot. However, I don’t think I’ve even scratched the surface of everything I wanted to have done before I turned 30.

Then again, this is not the end of my life, but the beginning. There are so many things I’ve wanted to do, and these are the years that I’m going to do them.

So, in the most self-centered, egotistical, and humble way possible… Happy Birth Month to ME!

  1. Well Don. I know how you feel. I’ll be turning 30 myself in 7 months and I’m so not looking forward to my 30th. I want to stay 29 forever.

I don’t think you’re crazy. I know a lot of people who celebrate their birthday the whole week. For me. My birthday is February 3rd. So my birthday is at the beginning of the month.

I’ve been thinking about what I wanted to do for my birthday. I wanted to do a theme party since its a big birthday for me. I was thinking about an 80s theme since I was born at the beginning of the 80s. I want to get started with ideas so when my birthday comes up, I’m ready.

Well Happy Birthday for the next 26 days.

  2. ABSOLUTLEY!!!! Enjoy!! You do have so much more to do in your life. 30 and 40 didn’t bother me much however when I hit 50 last year, I really pondered things. Sooo… HAPPY BIRTH MONTH TO YOU!!!

  3. I didn’t have a problem with turning 30. Not much of a problem, anyway.

I think 35, in a few years, will be harder. I am starting to feel a time crunch–like, regardless of what I want to accomplish, I am running out of time to do it.

    Have a wonderful birthday/month!

  6. I think I was more upset turning 20. I am almost 50 now. And I really can’t wait. Not for the age, but the fact that I am going to VEGAS… I can’t stop time. I wish I could. But! I still don’t feel like an adult.
