Not a bad time for the first time back on the track…
Yes, I got back in the sled on Saturday morning. It felt good to be back on the ice. Jeremy was feeling a little frisky and decided to take some strong lines. (I’m still feeling sore around the neck.)
So, there’s the bench mark for the rest of the season: 52.25. That’s the time to beat, and to keep beating everything we go sliding. We might even be heading up there during the Thanksgiving holiday. Once you get addicted to this stuff… it’s dangerous!
…we really want to be in the 51s.

Brandon is only 15 votes behind third place. We have to make sure Brandon doesn’t fall from the top 4 because what I read from the rules the top 4 advance to the next round.
Happy Thanksgiving, Don. I hope you are having a wonderful Thanksgiving with your parents and maybe other Osmonds!!! Happy Thanksgiving.
Now down to 4th place…not looking good. I’ve got the link on my facebook and my signature on your father’s website. I’ll put it on my blog at the weekend.
Don…why don’t you start up a group on facebook so we can spread it around…just a thought.
Hope you and your family have a fabulous Thanksgiving
Don – I too put the link for Brandon on my facebook and my blog. Hopefully we can get his voice heard.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Don, What is the groups best time?
I’ll put the link on my facebook, most of my friends on there are fans (and Osmonds…lol) and various other sites I go to but I should mention that some people I know are put off by having to register first on that website before they can vote.
Keep nagging the family Don.
Facebook? Rally your friends and your cousins friends to vote for Brandon on Facebook. Not alot of poeple know about these blogs. There are alot of Osmond fans on Facebook. That way they can hear his song and vote.
Jane, every track is a little different in length and shape. So, it depends on what track you are riding as for what time you need to have. I’m not to familiar with the Italian track, but we are just racing for our time on the Park City track. I’ll have to look more into the details on that track.
I also agree with you about the voters. I don’t know what happened there, but we need to rally the troops to get more votes for my brother.
Any thoughts?
p.s. Can’t believe Brandon has slipped down to 3rd place…whats happened to all the voters???
Good for you Don, no stopping you now. Keep up the practice. I looked up the speed you’d need for Olympic Gold standard and I understand it to be a bit over 48 (according to the last olympics) so hope the track stays open for you. Don’t suppose your allowed to use turbo power are you??? Nah…thought not….:)
Don, it’s your old DU pal Amelia, Facebook stalking you and thrilled to see you have a blog. I’m at ameliorateme.blogspot.com.
You are bobsledding too?! You are so hardcore.
YAY!!! Glad you guys got to go sledding this weekend.
How do you make the sled go faster?
WTG, Don. I told you you were going bobsledding this weekend. Never give up because if you do, it won’t happened.
Is 52.25 good or bad? Do you know what’s the world record to beat?
OK. You said you are sore around the neck? Is your neck used for something?
Well I’m glad ya’ll finally practiced. Now if ya’ll are going bobsledding during the holidays, make sure its opened. LOL
Good luck for the rest of the season. The next thing you know Olympics will be around the corner.
How long is the track? And can you go faster than 51?
