Happy Halloween!

Oh, the crazy things we do for Halloween…
I know it’s not summer time. It’s a new quiz online. CIGNA is running an online learning game to teach people about healthcare. More importantly, every time you correctly answer three questions there is a donation of clean water made to the children in India. (Though I’m not sure how that all works.)
Regardless, I just spent three minutes online; answered a few questions; provided four days-worth of water.
There’s a video that explains this in more detail. Funny thing is my good friend Collin was interviewed for the video! (Collin, how did that happen? Then again…) What are the chances? Check it out. Click here!
Anyway, enough of my chitchat… Go play this game. Then leave a comment telling us how many days of water you provided. (I love competitions)
For those of you still reading, here’s a few other tidbits I found out about the game:
Ha ha ha! I just had to laugh after taking this photo. That’s so not me!
As promised, here’s the photo.
The guys and I are getting anxious to shave – and it’s only been three weeks! (I started late in the month.)
I’ve been told I look like an angry drunk. Oh, the things we do for Halloween. At least I can say I never dressed up like Marie.
Don’t ask.
The guys and I decided to grow out our beards during the month on October in honor of National Facial Hair Month. I’m not sure about the legitimacy of the recognition; nonetheless, I’m participating.
Seven of us began this journey; three remain. I’m thinking that we three are the ones the joke is being played against; nonetheless, we venture forward.
October is nearing its end. The “Thick Three” drudge along, anticipating the day we can shave it off. The beards do itch ever so; nonetheless, we flaunt it with pride.
Pictures will follow… later.

Don’t even think about denying that this has never happened to you.
With the cold weather coming in, I purchased a new jacket. And, as with every new clothing item, tags are omnipresent throughout the article – including stickers. (You know where I’m going, don’t you?)
Well, it has been about three weeks since my purchase and I just noticed something…
Yep! I’ve been walking around with a nice little “M” sticker on my chest. And, I never noticed it until today!
I was invited by a good friend of mine to go riding on Saturday morning. And despite going to bed the previous evening at 3 AM, I showed up to participate in the governor’s motorcycle ride. The ride was organized as a fundraiser; an endowment for the families of officers who have been killed in the line of duty.
It was a gorgeous day for a ride, and… did I mention that we had a police escort through the Alpine Loop?

I started a counter on my blog about a year ago, and we’ve already reached 36,000. But that got me thinking, “When will it hit 100,000?”
My best guess… July 2010. Just one of those random things you think about during the day.
