I realize the poll is not yet closed, and that a majority of you feel otherwise. However… I’m getting a bike!
Unfortunately, that means I have to save my pennies. I’m thinking it’ll be a Christmas present to me.
This is what I’m currently thinking…
I recently realized the stark similarities between an addiction and a dedication.
Addiction:
A great interest in something to which a lot of time is devoted.
Dedication:
The quality of being devoted or committed to something.
It’s interesting how one is viewed as negative, while the other positive. Why’s that?
One could easily say, he is addicted to his job; or, he is dedicated to finishing this video game.
I’m willing to bet that the difference lies between the devotion one sees portrayed by another, and the value they place on said devotion.
Thoughts?
This is the time to remember our veterans and be thankful for the service they provide in having kept, and keeping this nation free.
God Bless You!
I’ve mentioned this before, but you may want to check out Footnote.com. Especially their interactive Vietnam War Memorial.
May you all have an enjoyable weekend.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull opened last night, and a close friend of mine invited me to go with her.
Though a fan of the Indiana Jones series, I rank this movie last out of them all. I just didn’t care for it. The movie was very formulaic and predictable. Even the cinematography didn’t hold my attention; I even saw scene sets from different movies (e.g. Dead Poets Society, Transformers, and the sound stage for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.)
The movie will obviously do well because of hype, but that’s about it.
The only redeeming factor about last night was the company; thank Kath! …and Jules, Natalie, Kate, and Amy
Everyone needs to watch the Glenn Beck Show tonight. One of my clients will be getting a short feature on the show.
The company is called Footnote.com, which recently announced the launch of an interactive Vietnam War Memorial. Way cool stuff!
Take a look and tell me what you think.
So, I hesitated putting up a post about American Idol yesterday. Probably because I was having to much fun with the conversation that ensued following my last post.
Anyway, I wanted to write my prediction on which David would win — David Cook.
Now I realize living in Utah and cheering for the other David to win is practically a cardinal sin! But, I honestly felt that he should take it.
I’m sure many of you are thinking, “Yeah right, Don. Hindsight is always 20/20!” That’s okay; we are all entitled to our opinions.
Just thought I would share that.
I’ve been going back and forth for the past 5 months on the decision to purchase a motorcycle, so I pose the question to you…
Do I purchase a motorcycle? And if so, what kind?
My rationale to purchase is that I’m young, single and stupid. I have no responsibility.

(See poll in sidebar…)
Oft times there are songs that come into your life at the very moment you need. This is an oldie, but a goodie. I love the ending; drums, guitar… it’s great!
