May I first say that I’m pleased with the snowfall we have received during the past two days.
Now here comes the soapbox… There are countless, perfect-horrible examples of Utah drivers on the road; during the winter months, they only to get worse.
If I had my wish, they would stop selling driver’s licenses at Wal-Mart to anyone who can say their “A,B,Cs” and know the difference between red, yellow and green (And even then, they only need to score 50%!)
For the love… If you are afraid to drive in the snow – Don’t. If you must, stay to the right. (Funny, I recall that from Driver’s Ed. I believe that rule applies for perfect driving conditions as well.)
So if by chance you see a car tailing you rather closely, they are not trying to get a closer look at how cute you are today. I’m willing to bet that you are driving to slow in the center and middle lanes. And if you don’t know someone is directly behind you, adjust the rearview mirror. (Contrary to popular uses, it is not an extension of your compact. Do your makeup at home, not in the car.)
This message brought to you by a car rear you!
