Don’t tell this hasn’t happened to you before:
You get ready for the day, grab your bag (bag pack, briefcase, purse, murse, what-have-you) and you run out the door. Suddenly, you are struck with this overwhelming feeling that you are “naked”, or without a vital trinket of you everyday routine. You pass the thought thinking you are completely mistaken until you’ve traveled +30 minutes to your destination (work or school). Then it hits you – “Where’s my wallet?”
In your mind’s eye you travel back home and vividly picture it on your bedside table. And if you could, you would reach through the vast space of imagination to pick it up; once again reunited with this mere inanimate necessity of life. Alas, you can’t!
Blasted! I forgot my wallet!
And you swear that is will never happen again… (ha ha ha) You’ll be thinking of this post in about four months from now when you do it again.
